Responsibilities
Prepare financial statements, operating budgets, and site-level financial reports
Handle daily accounting activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Ensure accurate consolidation and reporting of all project entities
Maintain SOX compliance across all accounting processes
Create financial forecasts and support site-level budgeting
Prepare quarterly tax provisions and ensure timely reporting
Interpret and apply accounting policies relevant to the site
Qualification
Required
6-10 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance
Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required
Proficiency in accounting, Excel, budget analysis, and financial analysis
Experience with SOX compliance, tax provisions, and journal entries
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple financial processes at the site level
Preferred
CPA / MBA or advanced degree preferred
Prior experience in utilities or the construction or utility industry is preferred
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes
Familiarity with SAP, FMIP, and Passport systems
Solid understanding of financial reporting processes and consolidation
Experience with high-level reporting and forecasting is essential
