Responsibilities

Set the tone of engineering-excellence and drive processes and standards within the team

Design of complex software changes

Take on the development of exciting new features

Partner with your senior and junior teammates throughout the software development lifecycle to cultivate a reciprocal learning environment from development to debugging and operational excellence

Qualification

Required

5+ years of experience building highly scalable, high performance, responsive backend applications with Java and their ecosystems

Proven ability in building large scale backend applications

Experience operating software running on a containerized platform (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)

Experience with unit testing and functional automation frameworks

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years' experience in software engineering or related area

Option 2: 5 years' experience in software engineering or related area

Preferred

Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year's experience in software engineering or related area
