Responsibilities
Supporting the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis and Financial Controller – Defense in maintaining the integrity of Defense North America Business Financial Planning and Reporting Systems and in leading the cash forecast and cash management activities for the Defense North America Businesses
Acting as a delegate for business Finance Controllers, as needed
Supporting the development and maintenance of the regional report inputs into the sector headquarters
Reviewing, analyzing and managing project revenue, margins and cash flow to understand the key opportunities and threats the business should navigate
Manage the local instance of the Value Based Modelling System
Specifying and assisting in the development of monitors to measure financial performance against budgets, plans and targets
Lead the annual cost center budget process for Defense North America
Qualification
Required
Must be a US Citizen
Must have schooling or work experience in Finance/Accounting
Must understand debits and credits
Experience with budgeting and forecasting
Experience with Excel Programming
A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with 5+ years of experience in Finance OR
A Master's degree in Finance or Accounting with 3+ years of experience in Finance OR
JD/PHD in Finance or Accounting

Hyperion Financial Systems
SAP experience
Very proficient in Excel (will be managing a lot of templates and extracting data)
Experience with Hyperion Planning and Reporting
Experience with Visual Basic
