Technician Intern: Summer 2026 - Materials & Processes Engineering (Onsite)

Pratt & Whitney is a leader in aerospace and defense, and they are seeking talented technology students for their Summer 2026 internship program in Materials & Processes Engineering. The role involves supporting engine component and materials development through various testing and analytical processes.

Responsibilities

Responsible for engine component, materials and/or chemical process development, analyses, testing and other support functions for both commercial and military engine applications
Specific tasks may include mechanical testing, materials analysis, metallurgical or chemical analysis, inspection processes or coating property analysis
Prepare samples, execute laboratory testing, document and analyze data/results

Required

Enrolled in a two or four year Technology or STEM degree program
Able to commute to East Hartford, CT
