Responsibilities

Partner with hiring managers to build effective recruiting strategies and manage customer/partner expectations
Provide recommendations to hiring managers based on market data and position requirements, serving as a trusted talent partner
Collaborate with cross-functional partners such as Human Resources Information Systems, Talent Management, Compensation, and Total Rewards
Post job openings on our applicant tracking system as well as all other media resources including online employment job boards and social media
Screen and source both active and passive candidates through in-person, phone, and virtual interviews, including behavioral-based interviews from entry-level to high-level positions
Ensure an excellent candidate experience through prompt follow-up and communication with candidates throughout their life cycle from initial contact to start date
Arrange interviews between hiring managers and candidates, including coordinating travel for out-of-state candidates
Work with the compensation team in developing salary job offers, extending and negotiating offers with selected candidates
Participate in the training and mentoring of new talent acquisition team members and support the development of Talent Acquisition Specialists
Administer background checks and new hire paperwork processes such as employment verification, education verification, reference checks, and pre-employment drug tests
Perform other job-related functions as assigned

Required

Minimum 3 years of recruiting experience in a medium to large organization, executing manager-level and above searches
Experience using an applicant tracking system such as PeopleSoft and conducting behavioral-based interviews
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Good knowledge across Human Resources disciplines and applicable Federal, State, and local laws
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Experience in both external recruiting agency and corporate human resources department
Strategic sourcing, stakeholder management, and internal talent acquisition experience in a generalist recruiting role
Ability to support a diverse set of positions including Supply Chain and Procurement, Sales/Marketing/Revenue management, and entry-level customer service positions
Assertive and knowledgeable in human resources
