Korn Ferry is partnering with a Los Angeles-based private equity firm in search of an experienced Fund Accounting Manager. The role involves managing financial accounting and reporting for multiple private equity funds, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and accurate reporting.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate fund-level accounting records for multiple private equity funds, ensuring compliance with GAAP and partnership agreements

Prepare capital call and distribution notices, including waterfall calculations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual fund financial statements and supporting schedules

Reconcile fund accounts, including cash, investments, and accrued expenses

Support audit and tax preparation processes, providing schedules and explanations as requested

Collaborate with portfolio company accounting teams to gather financial information and ensure accurate reporting

Monitor and update investor capital accounts and ensure proper allocation of income, expenses, and distributions

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
