Responsibilities

Implementing and/or improving internal processes, dashboards, and operations to achieve or exceed Internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

Providing exceptional leadership and management for a staff of local and remote AWS employees

Demonstrating ability to complete root cause identification and correction of errors without pointing fingers

Developing professionals with a breadth and depth of experience, skillset, and career aspirations

Being a great people manager. Having the ability to hire, develop, motivate and mentor a group of world-class engineers is the most important part of this role

Retaining top talent, excelling in day-to-day people and performance management, and have the ability to recruit new engineers

Distilling work into granular units are able to translate requirements into an actionable roadmap

Delivering the right things at the right time with competing priorities at times

Required

5+ years of people management experience

5+ years of technical program management experience

Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

Preferred

Knowledge of the AWS product suite

Knowledge of data center infrastructure design, operations, or delivery

Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients

Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver projects on tight deadlines
