Responsibilities
Review client contract documentation for accurate project setup and compliance
Input data into the project accounting system as per contract terms and corporate guidelines
Manage invoicing processes, including creating, revising, posting, and archiving invoice packets
Support subconsultant invoice payments
Execute project closeout activities, including complex reconciliations
Provide detailed analysis and research to respond to client inquiries
Serve as a liaison during audits
Analyze work-in-process and accounts receivable
Contribute to the implementation and testing of new departmental software
Offer guidance to peers and assist with system maintenance and troubleshooting
Qualification
Required
Billing experience within an engineering or architectural firm
Experience working with project managers to track deadlines and milestones
Understanding of lumpsum and time & materials billing
Proficient in Deltek Vantagepoint
Experience with change orders
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, Vlookups, Sumif's, and Index Match
3+ years of project billing experience within an engineering or architectural company with revenue over $200 million
3+ years of experience creating invoices for multi-million dollar projects
3+ years of change orders experience
Preferred
Experience with Macros in Excel
Associate or Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or a business-related field
