First Tek, Inc. is seeking a Military Account Manager to oversee major pursuits for assigned accounts. This role involves managing the full lifecycle of contracts, from capture to execution, and requires strong contract management experience and expertise in US government contracts.

Responsibilities

Acts as a capture manager for all major pursuits for assigned accounts
Supports cradle-to-grave contract work
Responsible for all major pursuits across assigned accounts
Handles 2 premier accounts and several lower accounts
Manages a secondary government program for the Boeing account
Involved in a new development program needing aftermarket guidance
Handles post-award tasks to ensure customer scorecard is met and contractual agreements are delivered
Responsible for performance and quality metrics
Evaluates repair capability activity and prepares for repair capability
Sets up contracts properly and forecasts workload
Works with OEM teams to prepare for workload and address capacity concerns
Supports sales forecasts and ultimate end needs through capture management
Deals with all branches of the government through prime defense contractors
Provides mentorship and coaching to direct reports

Required

Bachelor's Degree required
A decent amount of contract management experience is required to be successful in this role
This person needs to be an SME in USG contracts
Strong mentorship & coaching capabilities are highly desired

Please target US Government contracts certification programs like the following: UCI-Contracts certification program, World CC aerospace, NCMA—Gov't contracts
We would consider people from outside the aerospace industry, but it is certainly not the ideal target audience
