Design of new and rehabilitated bridge projects
Ensure project schedules and quality standards are met
Maintain project scopes, budgets, and deliverables
Prepare contract bid documents and oversee construction phase services

Required

Proven ability to manage structural design for engineering and construction projects of varying complexity

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
12–20 years of relevant experience in structural design
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Maryland
Experience with AASHTO LRFD bridge design standards
Experience working with the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT)
12–20 years of structural design experience
Maryland PE license (active)
AASHTO LRFD bridge design experience
Experience with MDOT projects
Expertise in steel, reinforced concrete, and prestressed concrete design

Preferred

Master's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)
6+ years of experience leading design engineers and drafting teams
