Responsibilities

Track referrals in an automated database system to monitor status changes

Provide reports and identifies trends, problems and shortages of specialty care to management

Participate in the implementation of updated and new policies and/or procedures directed by the Department

Review established policies and procedures to assure compliance is met

Coordinate with appropriate medical authorities to find alternative sources of care when referral delayed or declined

Required

One year of specialized experience which includes answering phone calls and/or inquiries, maintaining records and files for accuracy, and utilizing automated systems for tracking purposes

Four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university

A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%

Education must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in order for it to be credited towards qualifications

Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact

You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship

One year trial/probationary period may be required
