They are seeking an IT Project Manager to manage process improvement and system implementation initiatives, working closely with IT leaders and various departments to ensure project success.

Responsibilities
Managing large enterprise-type projects that involve multiple departments and vendors to ensure proper management towards successful conclusion
Serving as the primary point-of-contact for implementation partners and internal team members
Creating and maintaining project plans to monitor and track progress
Ensuring resource availability and allocation
Ensuring that process decisions, functional decisions, and project deliverables are completed with the involvement of the appropriate stakeholders to deliver overall solution
Coordinating and monitoring activities of all parties involved in the project to ensure the system is completed on time and within budget
Measuring project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
Communicating project status to appropriate management and interested parties
Assessing the change impact on the organization and integrating strategies for change management into the project plan
Creating and maintaining a team atmosphere and work environment to promote project work productivity
Other projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven capability of communicating to all levels of the organization as this position will have significant interaction with senior leadership
Thorough knowledge of project management theories and practices and the ability to apply that knowledge
History of successfully delivering on large-scale IT projects involving diverse stakeholders and multiple vendors
Extensive knowledge of the information systems development life cycle, information technology, project tools and approaches to development and implementation
Experience working as a project manager
Ability to lead, encourage and influence others to perform
Proven success in vendor management, i.e. partnering with one or more vendors during a project to achieve results as a team and holding vendors accountable when appropriate
Although not expected to be significant, ability to travel as necessary to perform job responsibilities
Preferred
PMP Certification preferred
Scrum / Agile Certifications and experience a plus
