Responsibilities
Defend insurers and insureds in a wide variety of litigation matters, including general liability, personal injury, property damage, and commercial disputes
Manage all phases of litigation: pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
Provide strategic case analysis, risk assessment, and guidance to clients
Collaborate with partners and colleagues to deliver high-quality legal representation
Supervise junior associates and support staff as needed
Qualification
Required
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active Florida bar license, in good standing
Minimum 3+ years of insurance defense litigation experience (trial experience preferred)
Strong legal writing, research, and advocacy skills
Ability to manage a heavy caseload independently while maintaining strong attention to detail
Excellent client communication and relationship-building abilities
