Salvatori is a third-generation Italian design company specializing in high-end stone. They are seeking an Area Sales Manager to expand their network of distributors in the US and establish a showroom in New York, while also training junior talent to support business growth.

Responsibilities

Expanding our network of distributors across the US whilst also serving our existing partners
Setting up a showroom in New York, from helping us find a suitable location right through to opening it
Identifying and training junior talent to support you as the network grows

Qualification

Direct selling experienceNetworking skillsNegotiation techniquesLeadership abilitiesTime managementInterpersonal skillsCommunication skillsOrganizational skills

Required

At least three years in a direct selling role, ideally in one of the following sectors: bathroom products, ceramics or stone
Proactive, extremely organised self-starter with excellent time management skills
Networking and sound interpersonal skills
Understanding of the commercial world: negotiation techniques, competitive knowledge and strategic nous
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a wide range of people from showroom staff to tradespeople to business owners
Demonstrate leadership and the ability to manage and motivate agents
Available and willing to travel 3 weeks out of 4 across 11 months of the year
