Responsibilities
Inspecting, diagnosing, and identifying work that needs to be completed on various vehicles
Performing adjustments and calibrations, replenishing fluids, disassembling and reassembling vehicle components, and repairing or replacing parts
Using independent judgment needed to make decisions, documenting all work and hours per manufacturer and Kendall policies, and road testing all vehicles to ensure quality of work and issues resolution
Qualification
Required
2+ years of Service Technician or mechanical experience at a dealership or large independent shop
Ford Certification
B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
A valid driver's license and clean driving record
Able to operate a wide variety of both automatic and manual transmission
Able to drive various vehicles including cars, trucks, and vans, including hybrid models
Preferred
Previous experience at a Ford dealership is preferred
Previous experience working with luxury vehicles is preferred
