The Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) is offering an internship in their Stakeholder Engagement Department, which focuses on connecting the airport to the community. The Events Intern will assist in planning and executing events, creating marketing materials, and engaging with external vendors, while developing skills in event management and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

Assist Events Coordinator in planning and executing outreach initiatives, presentations, communications, surveys, events and other forms of engagement for internal and external audiences

Provide support in the creation and communication of important event materials, such as varies marketing collateral, pre-event communication documents, etc

Support all aspects of in-person and virtual event planning and implementation as required, including execution, logistical support, coordination of design needs and post-event initiatives

Serve as on-site management, respond to event problems or complaints, and obtain guest feedback

Analyze event success, implement post-event surveys, prepare recap reports and track impact metrics

Required

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program OR be a recent graduate (within 12 months from posting date) in Hospitality, Business, Marketing Communications, Public Relations, or related degree

Ability to lift 40 lbs

Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Ability to work evenings and weekends, as planning and event schedules demand

Valid state driver's license

Reliable vehicle to commute between job sites
