Responsibilities

To Maintain and promote the Tyson Safety culture
Receive Training and experience in Maintenance to start your career
Perform various duties as required/assigned
Perform preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures
Keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production
Setting up, adjusting and breaking down production line machinery
Learning through first-hand experience about industrial maintenance in a fast-paced, high demand environment
Using Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out daily documentation
Communicating with other Team Members, producers, USDA personnel and drivers
Using math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc
Lifting 70 lbs. periodically throughout the shift on a daily basis and working on your feet for a period of 12 hours
Completing all required training for the job

Required

All applicants must be graduated or enrolled in an Industrial Maintenance program
Experience and education must be listed on the application or on an attached resume
Please document specific areas of study as related to maintenance education
All applicants must provide their government identification number so the system can verify any previous Tyson employment history
Must be willing to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system
Must have good verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate with other Team Members, producers, USDA personnel and drivers
Must be able to use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc
Must be willing to lift 70 lbs. periodically throughout the shift on a daily basis
Must be willing to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours
Must be willing to complete all required training for the job

Preferred

C.A.T.S. program students are preferred
