Responsibilities
Lead and manage the design and delivery of highway and local roadway projects from concept through final construction documents
Perform roadway engineering design including geometric design, pavement design, drainage, grading, and construction staging
Prepare and review engineering calculations, plans, quantities, and cost estimates
Oversee project scopes, budgets, schedules, and financial performance
Coordinate with internal disciplines and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Support business development activities including proposal preparation, fee estimates, and interviews
Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff
Monitor workload, resourcing, and delivery milestones across active projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
8+ years of roadway / transportation engineering experience
Proficiency with roadway design software such as: Bentley MicroStation, Bentley OpenRoads Designer, & AutoCAD Civil 3D
Strong background in: Roadway geometric and pavement design, Construction document preparation, right of way plan development
Confident communicator with experience working with public sector clients and agencies
