Architect & Build: Design and implement the core infrastructure platform that supports our US securities trading system
Collaborate: Partner with cross-functional business and product teams to translate complex trading requirements into scalable technical solutions
Optimize for Performance: Continuously refine code and system architecture to achieve micro-millisecond latency and high throughput , ensuring our traders have a competitive edge
Ensure Resilience: Maintain and improve system stability and high availability ($99.99%+$), implementing robust monitoring and failover strategies
Modernize: Contribute to the evolution of our tech stack, advocating for best practices in systems programming and infrastructure-as-code
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
At least 5 years experience in backend development
A rock-solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including complex data structures, algorithms, multi-threaded programming, and network protocols (TCP/UDP)
Proven professional experience with Rust. We are also open to experts in Go or C++ who are eager to master Rust in a production environment
Experience with Linux internals, performance profiling, and debugging complex distributed systems
An innovative mindset with a 'built-to-last' philosophy. You are a fast learner who stays ahead of the curve in a rapidly changing tech landscape
Preferred
Deep experience with Functional Programming (e.g., OCaml, Erlang, Elixir, or Haskell)
Prior experience in the financial or trading industry (FinTech)
Contributions to open-source projects or a strong presence in the systems programming community
