5+ years expDynamic Beta Investments (DBi) is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to own and scale the firm’s data and internal platform infrastructure. This role works directly with the PM and supports research, portfolio management, and production workflows.

Responsibilities
Own ingestion, normalization, and storage of hedge fund, market, and proprietary datasets
Manage integrations with external data providers
Design and maintain pipelines into Snowflake using Fivetran and custom ETL
Implement data validation, reconciliation, and quality controls
Maintain clean, reproducible historical time series
Design and maintain REST APIs for internal data access
Maintain and extend internal tools including Streamlit dashboards
Work with external partners such as Everysk on critical workflows
Qualification
Required
~5 years experience in data engineering or investment systems
Strong Python and SQL
Hands-on Snowflake experience
Experience building APIs
Understanding of financial time-series data
Preferred
Hedge fund, asset manager, or fintech experience
Streamlit and ETL tooling familiarity
Cloud infrastructure exposure
