VARITE INC is seeking an experienced Engagement Manager to lead and oversee IT operations for a greenfield airport terminal implementation. The role requires a strong background in Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, ERP applications, and IoT, ensuring compliance with federal regulations while coordinating with diverse vendors for seamless delivery of mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities
Drive end-to-end IT operations for an airport terminal
Establish governance frameworks aligned with federal regulations and aviation standards
Ensure operational readiness and resilience across infrastructure, cybersecurity, ERP, and IoT systems
Act as the primary liaison between airport authorities, federal regulators, and technology vendors
Manage multi-vendor ecosystems including SITA, Schneider Electric, and other solution providers
Negotiate contracts, SLAs, and performance metrics to ensure accountability and service excellence
Ensure strict adherence to FAA, TSA, and other federal regulatory requirements
Ensure cybersecurity controls and risk mitigation strategies for critical airport systems
Manage audits, assessments, and reporting to maintain compliance posture
Qualification
Required
Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
10 years in IT program/operations management, with at least 5 years in airport or government-regulated environments
Proven track record managing greenfield implementations with complex IT ecosystems
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure, Cybersecurity frameworks, ERP systems, and IoT applications
Strong knowledge of federal regulations, aviation standards, and compliance frameworks
Excellent vendor management and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to manage large-scale, multi-vendor IT operations under strict regulatory controls
Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
Preferred
Prior experience working in airport IT operations or government-regulated environments
Familiarity with aviation technology vendors such as SITA, Schneider Electric, and similar ecosystems
Exposure to mission-critical systems in highly secure and regulated industries
