Responsibilities

Complete accurate take-offs, prepare estimates based on the bid schedule and direction from the lead estimator, and quote jobs on time with assistance from sales

Helps to maintain a "jobs to bid report" and a "follow up" report, attends the weekly sales meeting

Communicate regularly with sales, customers, and specifiers to confirm and clarify project scope and specifications prior to completing the estimate

Prepares prints, quotes, and RFQs (requests for quotes) for potential customers

Responsible for compiling estimates of how much it will cost to provide a client or potential client with products or services

Assessing material, labor, and equipment required and analyzing different quotes from subcontractors and suppliers

Performs other duties as assigned
