Responsibilities

You will be responsible for defining capabilities and partnering with engineering counterparts to deliver and operate them

You will help shape our cloud roadmap by translating customer needs into scalable capabilities, tools, and processes

This role partners closely with customers and sales teams to gather signals, lead requirements workshops, and advise on solution design and deployment

As the voice of the customer, you will synthesize customer and market insights to drive clear prioritization decisions, ensuring strong return on investment and alignment with Microsoft’s strategy

You will collaborate across engineering and business stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet customer needs and maximize business value

You will help mature the cloud architecture, identify opportunities for design optimization, and ensure our cloud is positioned to scale

You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining regular communications about the status of our cloud and upcoming developments

You will be able to conduct insightful conversations with senior business and technical decision makers inside and outside Microsoft

You will pull stakeholders together to align on a shared vision, working with a talented and diverse group of PMs, Developers, and internal teams that rely on our services to be successful

You must be a great collaborator, able to work effectively across broad teams and influence stakeholders of all levels and of all disciplines across Microsoft

Ability and passion to lead cultural initiatives, having positive impact on team morale and fostering an environment of inclusion

Required

Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years' experience in product/service/project/program management or software development or equivalent experience

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States that does not, now or in the future require employer sponsorship

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter

Preferred

6+ years of software development, product management, or technical program management with a strong track record of shipping products and services

Ability to deal with ambiguity, navigate uncertain situations, and drive for clarity

Previous experience and success in an engineering role where you delivered cloud services

Demonstrated experience in planning, cross-group collaboration, communications, analytical capabilities, and attention to detail

Passion and proven record for execution with measurable results; focus on delivering impact

Outstanding interpersonal skills, innovation, and the ability to motivate, inspire, and lead cross group/functional teams with a high degree of independence and success

Ability to work successfully across a complex, highly matrixed environment

Demonstrated strong capability in verbal and written communications skills across a geographically dispersed audience
