This role involves oversight of a $7 billion capital project delivery budget and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
Provide oversight of the Capital Project Delivery $7 billion budget
Develop the next bond program
Partner with environmental, public safety, water, aviation, mobility, and construction stakeholders
Ensure the highest levels of success and satisfaction for Capital Project Delivery
Utilize previous experience delivering Capital Improvement Projects to advance outcomes for the department and the City
Leverage expertise to collaborate and move projects forward to completion while ensuring trust in the community
Qualification
Required
Graduation with a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Engineering, Business, Public Administration, or a closely related field
A Master's degree from an accredited college or university may substitute for two (2) years of the required work experience
Ten (10) years of related experience, five (5) of which were in a managerial capacity
Preferred
Exceptional leader with a proven track record of impactful Capital Delivery Projects and initiatives
Experience delivering Capital Improvement Projects to advance outcomes for the department and the City
Utilizing a creative solutions mindset to collaborate and move projects forward to completion
