General Sales Manager (GSM)
Lenz Truck Center is seeking a proven General Sales Manager (GSM) to lead the Sales and Finance operations at their Fond du Lac, WI location. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for driving consistent performance in sales operations and ensuring accountability within the team.

Responsibilities
Desk, structure, and approve retail deals
Oversee and approve trade appraisals
Ensure compliant profitable deal structures
Monitor front end and back end gross performance daily
Actively assist in sales and F&I production when staffing requires hands on support
Review vehicle pricing using market data
Manage inventory aging and turn strategies
Partner on inventory acquisition to align with market demand
Lead sales meetings and ongoing training
Coach, and develop sales and F&I staff
Establish and maintain a culture of accountability, preparation, and performance
Own lead management, response standards, and follow-up execution
Monitor lead to sale performance metrics and enforce CRM compliance
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a General Sales Manager or senior sales leader
Strong desking, deal-structuring, and trade appraisal experience
Demonstrated success improving sales volume, gross, and inventory performance
Advanced working knowledge of Cox Automotive Software
Ability to lead from the front and produce when needed
Comfortable delivering direct feedback and managing performance
