Responsibilities
Originate and manage a book of business valued at $200K+ in real estate litigation and transactions
Advise property owners and management companies on rent regulation, DHCR proceedings, landlord/tenant disputes, and cooperative/condominium governance
Litigate in Supreme Court, Appellate Divisions, and administrative agencies (DHCR, HPD, ECB, Loft Board, BSA)
Handle real estate transactions, lease negotiations, and judgment enforcement/collections
Develop strategic litigation plans, draft motions, and represent clients in hearings and trials
Collaborate with partners and associates to deliver efficient, client-focused outcomes
Qualification
Required
10+ years of real estate litigation and transactional experience (landlord/tenant, coop/condo, rent regulation, administrative proceedings)
Portable book of business of $200K+ (or strong ability to originate new clients)
Admitted in New York
Strong legal writing, analytical skills, and courtroom presence
Collaborative, client-focused mindset with interest in long-term growth and leadership
