FWI (FedWriters, Inc.) is building a team to support the National Science Foundation's Office of Legislative and Public Affairs. As a Graphic Designer, you will create visual content for print and digital media to effectively communicate NSF's mission and research impact to various audiences.

Responsibilities

Create graphic design and layout for print and digital media, including press kits, infographics, presentations, and marketing materials

Design graphics for trade shows, event booths, conferences, exhibits, and video production

Create animated content for video, web, and social media

Follow and advise on agency branding guidelines and visual identity

Research subject matter and collaborate with researchers to ensure accuracy in designs

Ensure all content meets Section 508 accessibility requirements

Provide technical and artistic guidance to staff on visual communications

Required

Experience managing creative or digital services teams

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud suite of products

Experience creating graphics for federal agencies or similar organizations

Experience with animation and motion graphics

Experience with print and digital media design

Ability to gather requirements from stakeholders and work collaboratively and independently

Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
