Responsibilities
Installation: Install electrical systems and components in accordance with specifications and codes
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure safety and efficiency
Repairs: Diagnose and repair electrical issues promptly and effectively
System Upgrades: Recommend and implement upgrades for improved performance and energy efficiency
Emergency Services: Respond to emergency calls to mitigate hazards and restore functionality
Compliance: Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations and obtain necessary permits
Blueprints and Schematics: Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine system layouts
Customer Service: Communicate clearly with clients, addressing questions and concerns
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment manuals
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers for successful project completion
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrician apprenticeship program
Valid electrician license as required by the state
Proven experience as a licensed electrician with strong knowledge of electrical systems
Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and customer service abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical capability for tasks requiring bending, lifting, and working in confined spaces
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
