InternAramark Destinations is focused on service and sustainability, and they are seeking a Sustainability Intern to assist with campus sustainability initiatives. The intern will work on projects such as creating a local food pantry, managing recycling programs, and collaborating with local vendors and dining services.

Responsibilities
Forms connections with local vendors and campus sustainability team
Maintains a clean and orderly environment to protect the safety and health of others
Properly cleans and maintains the babylon (herb greenhouse)
Identify community food insecurities and work on creating a local food pantry on campus
Follows procedures for recycling and possible composting program
Work with Marketing Team on sustainability events and communication on campus
Work with Catamount Dining on local and sustainable sourcing for products
Addressing food waste and proposing ideas and solutions
Qualification
Required
Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs
Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing
This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE)
