Collaborate closely with clinicians and scientists in Detroit and across the entirety of Henry Ford and MSU
Maintain robust extramural funding, with federal funding as a cornerstone of their research programs
Engage in elevating the Henry Ford + MSU partnership

Qualification

Research fundingPeer-reviewed publicationsNeurosciencesCardiometabolic healthPrecision healthPopulation scienceIn-silico researchSoft skills

Required

PhD, MD, DO, or equivalent
Record of innovative in-silico, patient-oriented, or population science
History of research funding commensurate with rank
Record of sustained extramural funding and high-impact, peer-reviewed publications for Associate and full Professor/Scientist levels
Training and research track record consistent with a career path that will lead to extramural funding as an independent investigator for Assistant Professor/Scientist level candidates
Expectation to maintain robust extramural funding, with federal funding as a cornerstone of research programs
Active engagement in elevating the Henry Ford + MSU partnership
