Commercial Lines Account Manager
Brown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our growing team in Tacoma, WA. The role serves as the primary service contact for clients, managing an assigned book of business and providing day-to-day services including renewal coordination, billing, and documentation issuance.
Responsibilities
Service and maintain an assigned book of business
Provide direct customer service support for commercial lines clients
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of communications and insurance documents as required
Work closely with Producers and Marketing to achieve agreed upon goals for new and renewal business marketing
Develop and foster quality relationships with clients and team members
Review, analyze and resolve policy and coverage-related concerns for clients
Consistently meet all Brown & Brown established quality control Procedures and Timelines
Compile and create proposals, summaries and additional documents as requested
Actively participate in social, civic, and trade organizations to represent Brown & Brown's community/client commitment
Qualification
Required
Property & Casualty insurance license (if not already held, obtain within 30 days of hire)
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Strategic thinker with ability to act tactically and strong insight into customer needs/wants
Proficient with management operating systems that support insurance sales, tracking and service
Proficient with Microsoft Tools, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Preferred
1+ year of experience in the insurance industry with a strong emphasis in commercial lines insurance
