Senior Consultant – Operations Technology (OT) Lead
Elgebra is seeking a Senior Consultant – Operations Technology (OT) Lead to oversee OT support and service delivery in downstream refining environments. Responsibilities
Lead incident, problem, and service request management aligned with ITIL standards
Drive process improvements, automation, and OT system optimization initiatives
Ensure cybersecurity compliance, system reliability, and operational safety across OT environments
Coordinate application lifecycle activities including upgrades, patching, and vendor engagement
Maintain accurate documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials
Provide technical leadership during major incidents and root cause analysis
Support change management to minimize disruption to refinery operations
Proven experience managing stakeholders in onshore/offshore delivery models
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) from an accredited institution — or equivalent experience (3 years progressive experience may substitute for each year of education)
10+ years of IT experience with a strong technology foundation
Preferred
10–12+ years of Operations Technology experience in downstream refining environments
5+ years in a leadership or managerial capacity, overseeing OT support and service delivery
Strong hands-on expertise with PI Suite, G3 TAS, and other refining-centric OT applications
Experience supporting large OT environments with diverse applications and critical uptime requirements
Knowledge of SCADA/DCS systems, data historians, and LIMS
Familiarity with ITIL processes and cybersecurity frameworks
Understanding of refinery safety protocols and operational risk principles
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence
Willingness to travel to refinery sites as needed
