Responsibilities

Collaborate with multi-functional project teams that include the end customer, Application Scientists, Project Managers, Integrators, Designers, and Software Developers to plan and develop ETO solutions
Improve the customer’s workflows while providing dependable results
Lead discussions as the domain guide and provide customers with system introduction-level training
Translate customer scientific requirements to develop, implement, and validate sophisticated large-scale automated workflows using our scheduling software coordinated with a wide array of diagnostic laboratory instruments
Function as the technical lead in specifying data-handling needs and arranging systems to work compatibly with the customer’s Lab Information Management System (LIMS) when necessary
Instruct and improve robot/mover motion and workflows for efficiency and reliability
Conduct robust testing strategies to ensure customer success and achieve site acceptance test (SAT) approval

Required

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in science (Biology, Chemistry, Computer), Engineering, or related field
8 years minimum experience in science, software or lab automation
5 years in a role directly collaborating with customers in a professional environment
High proficiency in software problem-solving techniques and ability to troubleshoot electro-mechanical devices
Proficiency with programming languages (C++, Python, or other)
Valid Passport
Ability to travel 75% of the time internationally without restrictions

Preferred

Experience in Pharma or Biotech industries working with laboratory instrumentation considered an asset
Familiarity with IQ/OQ validation or GxP requirements is preferred
