Signarama is seeking an in-house Sign Designer to create accurate production drawings and modify customer-supplied artwork for fabrication. This role involves preparing files for print, CNC, vinyl, and fabrication, ensuring all specifications are met for production.

Responsibilities

Create and revise sign production drawings

Modify customer artwork for real-world fabrication

Set up files for print, vinyl cutting, and CNC routing

Prepare dimensioned layouts and install-ready files

Ensure correct scale, fonts, colors, bleeds, and specs

Coordinate with production to resolve file or build issues

Maintain clean, organized job files

Qualification

Sign design experienceFlexiDESIGN proficiencyAdobe Illustrator proficiencyVector artwork understandingLarge-format printing knowledgeFile organizationAttention to detail

Required

Experience in sign design or print production

Strong proficiency in FlexiDESIGN / Adobe Illustrator

Solid understanding of: Vector artwork, Scaling & dimensions, Font handling & outlining, CMYK / RGB / Pantone color workflows

Able to clean up poor or inconsistent customer files

High attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred

Sign shop or fabrication experience

Knowledge of large-format printing, vinyl, or CNC prep

Familiarity with materials (ACM, acrylic, PVC, aluminum)
