Junior Recruiter

Responsibilities
Handle and process all easy hires, ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding process via communication with the Hiring Manager and Candidate
Prescreening candidates for Hiring Managers to discuss offer details along with covering Cherokee Federal benefits
Reviewing requisitions with high app flow to determine qualified candidates and dispositioning those not qualified
Messaging qualified candidates on job boards such as LinkedIn/Indeed to have them apply for open Cherokee Federal positions
Act as the primary point of contact for the Workforce Information Center (WIC) regarding open requisitions, offers, and other recruitment-related inquiries
Coordinate the Success team to review hard to fill requisitions and aged requisitions
Conduct routine audits on recruiter requisitions ensuring all proper documents are attached
Maintain and update the WIN team tracker to ensure all recruitment activities and contracts are accurately documented
Create and extend LOI/LOC documents for the WIN team
Regularly clean and input data for reporting purposes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
Review Clearance Jobs to identify interested candidates and add/identify them in the ATS system
Assistant with loading data into the system to generate metrics
Supports recruitment initiatives and special projects, including collaboration with Cherokee Nation partners as needed
Maintains a working knowledge of basic recruiting practices, candidate experience standards, and applicable employment guidelines relevant to the work performed
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
Previous experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or human resources
Familiarity with job boards, recruitment processes, and data management
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with hiring managers, vendors, and candidates
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data management and reporting
Ability to develop and analyze metrics to measure program effectiveness
Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment-related software
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
