Responsibilities
Lead business analysis for Asset Accounting and Lease Accounting processes within SAP S/4HANA and ECC
Document As-Is and To-Be business process diagrams (BPDs), including gap/delta analysis
Support system conversion activities from ECC to S/4HANA, covering configuration, master data, and transactional data
Participate in end-to-end implementations for RE-FX and Contract Lifecycle Management
Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define functional specifications
Ensure compliance with ASC 842 and IFRS 16 standards for asset and lease accounting
Integrate contract data with Asset Accounting, AP, Banking, and Plant Maintenance
Support technical teams with functional inputs during design, development, and testing cycles
Assist with data preparation for testing across S/4 BRIM and ECC environments
Coordinate and support end-to-end, regression, performance, and UAT cycles
Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to business users
Validate solution outcomes to ensure alignment with user expectations and business objectives
Qualification
Required
6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Asset Accounting, Lease Accounting, and RE-FX
Experience in both ECC and S/4HANA environments
Worked on 1–2 full lifecycle implementations involving RE-FX or Asset/Lease Accounting
Strong understanding of Right-of-Use (ROU) assets, interest calculations, finance and operating leases
Direct experience supporting compliance with ASC 842 and IFRS 16
Experience preparing data and supporting testing for BRIM and ECC modules
Strong analytical, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred
Experience integrating contract valuations with sales and expense settlements
Familiarity with custom solutions for unique business requirements
Ability to review and validate functional and technical requirements during design phases
