Legacy Online School is an international K–12 institution dedicated to delivering high-quality education. They are seeking an experienced SAT / ACT Consultant to design and optimize a comprehensive SAT / ACT preparation program, focusing on curriculum development and instructional strategies.

Education

Responsibilities

Design a complete SAT / ACT prep curriculum (private + group formats)
Define lesson structure, sequencing, pacing, and milestones
Establish score-improvement methodology (baseline → drills → diagnostics → retesting)
Recommend optimal number and timing of full-length practice exams
Define readiness benchmarks for real SAT / ACT test dates
Outline what tutors teach in each phase (Foundations, Skill Building, Test Strategy, Final Review)
Define seasonality strategies (summer prep, fall testing cycles, spring juniors, seniors retesting)
Recommend best practices for teaching SAT vs ACT and advising families on test choice
Define group class structure (ideal group size, live vs async balance, homework expectations)
Recommend best textbooks, question banks, and official resources
Advise on digital tools & platforms commonly used in SAT / ACT prep
Define how to integrate official College Board & ACT practice materials
Recommend diagnostic frameworks and progress tracking methods
Ensure curriculum aligns with Legacy Online School’s College Guidance offerings
Help define student outcomes and value proposition for parents
Support creation of internal guidelines for tutors and counselors
Advise on pricing logic and package structure from an instructional standpoint

Required

3-5 years experience in SAT / ACT instruction or test prep leadership
Coaching experience to mentor and support students in achieving their academic goals
Familiarity with standardized testing methodologies (SAT and ACT) and proven proficiency in test preparation strategies
Comfortable working as a consultant / advisor, not just a tutor
Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred

Direct experience building or managing SAT / ACT prep programs (preferred)
Former or current SAT / ACT tutor, teacher, or academic director
Experience with group SAT / ACT courses
Familiarity with U.S. college admissions timelines and testing strategy
Experience working with online or hybrid education models
