Responsibilities

Assist in the design and analysis of mechanical systems, equipment, and packaging
Participate in feasibility studies and testing on new and modified Cisco designs
Support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing, and prototype fabrication
Provide design information to draft for packaging documentation
Collaborate with multi-functional teams to resolve infrastructural needs and product specifications
Contribute to projects that have a real-world impact, improving the customer experience of Cisco products and services

Required

Currently enrolled in a certification program (e.g., Boot Camp, Apprenticeship, Community College), or currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program. Relevant fields include Mechanical Engineering or related program or other academic certification
Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles
Experience with hardware design tools and software (e.g., CAD tools, simulation software, etc.) and familiarity with hardware testing and debugging techniques
Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and technical problem-solving skills
Able to legally live and work in the country for which you're applying, without visa support or sponsorship

Preferred

Strong ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
Possess creative analytical skills and excellent troubleshooting
Experience in establishing and sustaining excellent relationships with an extended team
Excellent verbal and written skills
