The Architectural CAD Technician / Designer will be responsible for coordinating with senior staff on various projects and ensuring the completion of construction documents with technical proficiency.

Architecture and Planning

Responsibilities

Coordinating with senior staff on projects ranging from small scale addition renovations to large estates, mixed-use buildings, and other commercial projects

Coordinate and facilitate the completion of construction documents with a high degree of technical proficiency and creativity

Easily communicates and articulates through challenging technical and design issues, offering a knowledge of constructible solutions

Demonstrates a proficiency in assembling complex and technical construction documentation

Flexibility in partnering and learning from senior staff on a wide variety of tasks including, presentations, maintaining CAD references, site analyses, code review, etc

Required

4+ years of experience with assembling construction documents

Exceptional knowledge of construction methods, particularly in Florida and Michigan

Strong Communication Skills and ability to quickly adapt to the firm's documentation methods

Proficient with ArchiCAD

Candidates with a strong background in BIM systems like Revit, and a willingness to learn ArchiCAD will be considered, but must demonstrate exceptional knowledge of Residential Construction and Documentation
