Human Resources Intern - Summer 2026

Responsibilities

Recruiting and onboarding process
Work on creative ways to increase onboarding efficiencies
Process new hires through the HRIS systems
Create proposals on retention ideas
Market Magna for different demographics
Schedule and participate in internal and external interviews
Participate in orientation training
Present the HR slides to new hires
Observe production assistant/supervisor meeting on leadership development
Create training and presenting to the supervisor
Organize and execute employee gratitude wall project
Assist in the preparation of the annual IFTS internal audit
Work through the check lists and validating appropriate documentation is included in each personnel file. If documentation is missing, processing the completion to maintain compliance with audit
Assist with electronic file conversion

Required

The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communication, or Business
Candidates should be entering their junior or senior year or enrolled in a graduate program
Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven organizational skills capable of managing multiple tasks and projects
Marketing skills that can translate to multiple demographics
Creative solutions and critical thinking ability to adapt to multiple challenges
Positive interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain professionalism at all times
