Director of Automation Sales
Responsibilities
Own the full sales cycle for complex AS/RS and automated warehouse systems ($5M–$10M+ projects)
Identify, develop, and close new business with enterprise, multi-site customers
Act as a market developer and hunter, expanding presence across the U.S. and Canada
Build long-term relationships with senior decision-makers and C-suite stakeholders
Lead consultative sales engagements, shaping tailored system solutions alongside engineering teams
Drive commercial negotiations and contracts through to close
Develop and manage sales channels including integrators, representatives, and strategic partners
Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and conferences
Support early project phases to ensure strong handover and customer satisfaction
Qualification
Required
Proven success selling large-capital automation or material handling systems
Strong background in AS/RS, automated warehouse systems, intralogistics, or capital equipment
Established network with enterprise-level customers and senior decision-makers
Strategic, solution-led sales approach with a true hunter mentality
Comfortable working independently while collaborating with international sales and engineering teams
Excellent communication skills across technical, commercial, and executive audiences
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience
