Responsibilities

Provide end-user support by answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and communicating system changes or outages
Document concerns and escalate as needed to leadership
Assist with insurance payer and chargemaster fee schedule data entry
Follow data entry policies and business rules to maintain high-quality data
Stay current on EHR capabilities and updates through learning platforms
Recommend and implement optimizations for revenue-related areas, including charges, dictionaries (HCPCS, CPT, ICD-10), insurance verification, and clinical documentation
Lead cyclical upgrades, customizations, and internal updates in collaboration with leadership
Provide technical assistance in creating clinical and financial reports (ad-hoc and scheduled)
Partner with multiple departments to deliver actionable insights
Coordinate EHR implementation for new clinics and team members
Collaborate across departments to ensure successful execution of integration projects
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and innovation
Adapt to business growth and strategy, cross-training as needed
Follow all legal and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA guidelines, to maintain patient privacy

Required

Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience (minimum 6 years in a similar role)
Healthcare experience required
Strong professional presence, business acumen, and excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel skills (data import, mapping, cleanup, and export)
Ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
Basic math skills for insurance payment settings

Preferred

4+ years working with EHR or practice management software preferred
1–2 years in project management, performance improvement, or consulting preferred
