They are seeking an Assistant Engineer who will be responsible for monitoring project performance, providing technical support, and assisting with project management tasks.

Responsibilities

Assist Project Manager in various construction related work including but not limited to - submittals, schedules, project correspondence and meetings

Manage compliance with standards and specifications for quality control assurance

Strong communication skills, correspond with owners, prime contractors, subcontractors, agencies, vendors and other stakeholders

Review project documents and become familiar with the contract, plans and specifications to execute the project effectively

Understand job budgets and production rates as they relate to returning a successful project

Participate in job forecasting quarterly

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, construction or related field or a minimum of 2 years of knowledge and experience with project management in construction specifically underground construction and other civil construction

Experience in the construction industry and safety in the field

Self-motivated and able to work well in a team

Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment

Knowledge in AutoCAD, Heavy Job HCSS, Microsoft office products, P6 scheduling software
