VP, Divisional Sales Manager - Banks/Wires/Agencies (BWA) West
Jackson National Life Insurance is seeking a VP, Divisional Sales Manager to lead and manage an external sales team. The role involves working closely with Regional Vice Presidents to develop business plans, coaching team leads, and collaborating with various departments to enhance sales efforts.

Responsibilities
Functions as a business leader for a sales team for Jackson National Life Distributors (JNLD)
Works closely with the Regional Vice Presidents (Wholesalers) in their respective territories to develop appropriate business plans to maximize territory sales and optimize market share within their territory
Coaches and trains Team Leads to help develop their Pods
Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing and other departments within Distribution to assist in the development of products and related marketing and sales materials
Works closely with the regions respective Internal Sales Team to help develop and create a cohesive team of Internal and External Wholesalers
Partners with Strategic Relationships to align to specific Broker Dealers to enhance the relationship and open new opportunities to grow at the firm
Travels throughout the division to work directly with Regional Vice Presidents (Wholesalers) to provide operational and sales support, sales ideas and sales coaching to develop high performing and motivated employees
Performs quarterly development reviews with Regional Vice Presidents to evaluate performance objectives and core competencies
Strategically plans and manages the deployment of resources to maximize the Region's sales, while being responsible for budgeting and expenses to ensure the region comes in under budget
Plans and executes product introductions, enhancements, and promotions with Regional Vice Presidents
Promotes, fosters and creates a professional and compliant team environment
Collaborates with the other VP, Divisional Sales Managers
Functions as a liaison and interfaces with the following areas to optimize sales: Market Research, Marketing, Legal, Operations, Customer Service, Internal Wholesalers and Desk Directors
Leverages data analytics to drive efficiencies within territories and support prescriptive wholesaling
Performs other duties and/or projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
10+ years of financial industry experience
7+ years of sales experience in investments, mutual funds, insurance or annuities
Securities Industry Essentials (SIE)
FINRA Series 6 or 7, FINRA Series 24 or 26, FINRA Series 63, State Insurance License
Preferred
Prior insurance or investment wholesaling experience
