Responsibilities
Handling complex IP litigation cases in the automotive sector from inception through trial, including discovery, motions practice, and appeals
Advising Fortune 500 clients on IP strategy, risk assessment, and enforcement for innovations in vehicle design, autonomous driving systems, and electric powertrains
Focusing on industries like automotive technology, electrical engineering, and advanced manufacturing
Collaborating with cross-functional teams on multi-jurisdictional disputes and alternative dispute resolution related to automotive patents, trademarks, and trade secrets
Qualification
Required
J.D. and admitted to practice law in TX
5 - 7+ years of experience as an IP Litigator, preferably with a background in electrical engineering / complex commercial disputes
Strong background in patent, trademark, and/or trade secret litigation; familiarity with federal court procedures and PTAB proceedings
Excellent analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills, with a track record of successful case outcomes
