Network Support Engineer Tier 2
Blueport is seeking a skilled Network Support Engineer II who enjoys tackling complex technical challenges and ensuring reliable network performance. In this hands-on, onsite role, you’ll work closely with customers to troubleshoot intricate issues and maintain seamless connectivity for top multifamily and hospitality clients.

Responsibilities
Serve as the Tier 2 escalation point, resolving advanced and complex network issues
Provide guidance and support to the Tier 1 support team
Configure and manage network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, VLANs, ACLs, VPNs, and routing protocols
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot incidents, and improve security
Deploy and test new networking equipment and solutions
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure reliable, high-performance connectivity
Work onsite full-time in our Walpole office (this is not a remote position)
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in a call center or technical support environment
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, subnetting, VLANs, wireless)
Practical experience with HP & Cisco switch CLI
Strong communication skills with the ability to understand and explain technical issues to customers
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Preferred
Spanish language skills are a plus
