Responsibilities
Build production LLM applications using FastAPI/Spring Boot backends with React/Next.js frontends
Implement and optimize RAG systems with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, OpenSearch)
Develop reusable LLM components (prompt engineering, chain orchestration, response streaming)
Create REST/GraphQL APIs for AI services integration
Deploy containerized AI applications on AWS (ECS/EKS, Lambda)
Assess and evaluate AI tools, making strategic build vs. buy recommendations
Implement caching, rate limiting, and guardrails for LLM APIs
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience with Python: FastAPI, Flask, Django
Experience with Java: Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data
Experience with JavaScript: React, Next.js, Node.js
Strong API development and microservices architecture
Production experience with RAG pipelines
Experience building AI applications and chains with LangChain/LlamaIndex
Experience with vector databases: Pinecone, Weaviate, OpenSearch
Knowledge of embedding models: OpenAI, Cohere, Sentence Transformers
Foundation knowledge in Data Science
Experience with AI-powered development environments: Cursor OR Windsurf
Experience with AI productivity tools: GitHub Copilot/CodeWhisperer
Experience with AWS Bedrock: Managed foundation models
Advanced prompt design and optimization in Prompt Engineering
Experience with AI Guardrails: Safety and content filtering mechanisms
Experience with AWS services: Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB
3-5 years in software engineering
Production web application development
Experience with Agile/DevOps practices
