Principal Test Equipment Support Engineer

Responsibilities

The candidate shall work with minimal supervision while maintaining test platforms on the manufacturing floor
Troubleshoot difficult and often complex test station and fixture failures on RF/Digital test platforms using best practices and procedures
Coach, review and influence lower-level professional peers and technicians regarding troubleshooting best practices and techniques
Interpret schematic drawings in aiding with troubleshoot of test stations and equipment
Design of significant improvements of systems and test equipment to enhance performance of work area and improve production up time
Document failure analysis and resolution steps to maintain troubleshoot guide for future use

Required

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
5+ years of test equipment design or troubleshoot experience in RF
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
DoD Clearance: Secret

Preferred

Strong familiarity with electronics across RF, Digital and AC/DC Power platform(s) with strong working knowledge of RF; as well as physical and mechanical aspects of interfacing applications
Experience developing, editing, and improving preventative maintenance, and calibration procedures, using intuitive techniques and methodologies
Able to balance multiple assignments simultaneously
Experience with CORE principles, or similar continuous improvement methodologies
