Responsibilities

Provide systems engineering and integration support to assess, plan, coordinate, schedule, and implement projects from inception through system transition
Work to solve problems and issues faced which can fluctuate and require detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation to understand the problem and determine appropriate resolution
Communicate with many levels of program, other contractor and government stakeholders, and work to positively influence parties within and outside of the job function at an operational level regarding policies, procedures, and practices
Provide training on systems, testing for integration of projects, and provide reliable data to the Customer enabling them to make informed decisions regarding the installation, integration checkout and test of operational system modifications and upgrades

Required

Typically requires a Bachelor's in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience
Experience with operational systems, maintenance installations, integration, and test experiences
Experience with project management
Experience with internal and external customers in a team environment (Government, Military, SETA, and Contractor.)
Experience with enterprise level planning and implementation
An active and transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance

Preferred

Experienced with an ops tempo and culture
Experience with trouble-shooting ops-related problems and solving those issues with a team of engineers
Customer relationships
Experience working across contract and location boundaries
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and HelpNow
Experience working in a virtual environment and collaborating with geographically dispersed engineering groups
Experience with both Windows and Unix platforms
