Synectics Inc. is seeking a Legal Billing Specialist with accounting experience to join their team. This part-time, in-person position involves assisting with legal billing, including invoice submission and resolution, as well as accounts payable duties.

Responsibilities

Assisting the Billing Manager with all legal billing, including invoice submission and resolution
Requesting fee authorizations from clients
Running fee and expense reports
Assisting Accounting Manager with accounts payable duties, including processing outgoing payments, entering day to day financial transactions into accounting software program, and verifying and processing reimbursement checks

Required

3-5 years of legal billing experience (experience in foreclosure and/or bankruptcy a plus)
Experience in General Accounting/Finance
Experience with Windows based accounting programs
Proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, etc
Must have high level of attention to detail
Must have ability to multitask and handle sensitive, confidential information
Ability to work with minimal direction
Excellent communication skills
College degree and/or equivalent work experience
Must be able to commute to Roseland, NJ

Preferred

Experience with Juris a plus
